TERMS, POLICIES & LEGAL NOTICES

These Terms, Policies, and Legal Notices (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the Meadow Lane website, products, services, catering, delivery, and in-store purchases. By accessing our website or purchasing from Meadow Lane Flower & Coffee Co., LLC (“Meadow Lane,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms.

 

1. TERMS OF USE

1.1 Website Content

All content on this website — including text, images, branding, logos, product descriptions, graphics, and design elements — is the property of Meadow Lane and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to modify website content, pricing, product availability, and policies at any time without notice.

1.2 Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities

  • Substitute comparable items

  • Refuse service

  • Discontinue products at our discretion

1.3 Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and consuming our products, you acknowledge that food and beverage consumption involves inherent risks, including but not limited to allergic reactions, choking hazards, and burns from hot items. You voluntarily assume these risks.

1.4 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meadow Lane’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the purchase, consumption, or use of our products shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Meadow Lane shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, personal injury beyond ordinary consumption risks, property damage, or damages resulting from improper storage, reheating, handling, or third-party delivery.

1.5 Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

 

2. FOOD ALLERGY & FOOD SAFETY POLICY

2.1 Allergen Notice

Our kitchen handles common allergens, including but not limited to milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and sesame.

All products are prepared in shared kitchen facilities. While we take reasonable precautions to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free of allergens.

Ingredient formulations, including those in third-party products, may change without notice.

Guests with food allergies are encouraged to speak with a manager prior to purchase. Individuals with severe allergies should carefully consider the risks of consuming products prepared in a shared kitchen environment.

By purchasing and consuming our products, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risk of cross-contact.

2.2 Food Handling & Storage

Many of our products are perishable and require refrigeration.

Once products leave our premises, Meadow Lane is not responsible for:

  • Temperature control

  • Storage conditions

  • Reheating

  • Handling

For delivery and catering orders, responsibility for safe storage transfers to the customer upon pickup or delivery.

 

3. DELIVERY TERMS

Delivery may be fulfilled by third-party providers.

Meadow Lane is not responsible for:

  • Delivery delays

  • Temperature degradation during transit

  • Errors made by third-party delivery platforms

  • Platform pricing differences

Risk of loss transfers upon handoff to the delivery provider.

Refund requests for third-party delivery orders must first be submitted through the delivery platform.

 

4. CATERING TERMS & CONDITIONS

A deposit may be required to secure catering orders. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed by the agreed deadline prior to the event date. After that date, reductions may not be permitted.

Full payment is due prior to delivery or service unless otherwise agreed.

For drop-off catering, responsibility for food safety transfers to the client upon delivery.

Meadow Lane is not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to weather, traffic, venue restrictions, labor disruptions, supply shortages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Clients are responsible for loss or damage to rented or provided equipment.

 

5. REFUND & RETURN POLICY

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all food sales are final.

If you experience an issue with your order, you must notify us within 24 hours of purchase.

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except as required by law.

We reserve the right to refuse returns at our discretion.

 

6. PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is due at time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

For invoiced catering or event services:

  • Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise stated

  • Late payments may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by law

  • Clients are responsible for reasonable collection costs, including attorneys’ fees

Chargebacks or billing disputes must be raised within five (5) business days of invoice receipt.

 

7. PRIVACY POLICY
